Vista SP2 Install Horror on RAID 1 System

Ok, DO NOT install Service Pack 2 for Vista on a RAID 1 System.  You will get stuck with a blinking cursor and a corrupt raid set.

I tried installing Service Pack 2 for Vista on a RAID 1 system and suffered the same problem. Now how should I recover previous working version of operating system.
